I'm not Emma Frost, even though that would be positively delightful. As such, I am bound to get some things wrong when it comes to RPing her, but that's where this little thing comes in. Here lies the "How's My Driving" post where you can tell me what concerns you have with her, what I'm doing right or just about anything you wish to.

The usual applies, anon is on, IP logging is off and comments are screened for your privacy. So, please, do enlighten me with your thoughts. However, keep in mind this tiny little tidbit, this Emma is primarily movie-based, but, I'm at least slightly familiar with comics canon when it comes to her, so I do apologize for any inconsistencies that occur just because of the comics vs. movies gap.

So, in canon, Emma is a pretty powerful telepath, however, in Eudio her abilities require consent of both the player and the character. Obviously, I'm willing to take the consent on a case to case basis since Emma herself would have to ask to read someone's mine. But before I can even think of doing that, I need permission from the player. Which is where this handy post comes in and basically, all I need you to do is answer a few questions when it comes to the permission you're willing to give me ( and potentially Emma ) when it comes to using telepathy on your character.

AGE: 30-ish. It's around age her actress was when she played her and reasonably fits the potential timeline for her.
CANON POINT: Right before her death some time before the events of X-Men: Days of Future Past but after the end of X-Men: First Class

BACKGROUND: Diamonds and backgrounds are a girl's best friend.
INCENTIVE: The only incentive Emma could think about if presented the option would be to escape Trask and thus live a life without being experimented on because she had the misfortune of being captured.
FIT: So, in canon it's shown that Emma has a good grasp on her sexuality. She uses it to her advantage and casually walks around in clothing that shows she's comfortable with showing off. While there is a scene of her seeming to distance herself from sex by using a projection of herself in the Russian general's mind, the fact that she conjures up the image shows that she's okay with sex and would have sex willingly and with consent.
CONSENT: Emma's power kind of is consent breaking by default unless she asks for permission to read someone's mind. In canon she obviously disregards the idea of consent when it comes to invading minds. However, I feel like she's capable of understanding consent and asking for it when she knows she needs to and in the case of Eudio, I feel like she'd be on her best behavior because it's in her best interest to obey the rules of consent here. If she doesn't, she will eventually die at the hands of Trask and she doesn't want that. Simply put, while she's broken consent in the past, there's no reason for her to do it here in Eudio because there's no benefit to her.
